Data Deletion

Last updated: 3 August 2026

How to have the data a business’s assistant collected about you deleted — and how to stop messages.

The short version

You can ask us to delete the personal data a business’s assistant collected about you on Messenger or Telegram. Email support@juanservice.com from (or naming) the contact you used, tell us which business you messaged, and we’ll delete it — usually within 30 days. If you just want the messages to stop, reply STOP on the channel.

1.What this page is for

JuanService powers AI assistants that businesses run over Facebook Messenger and Telegram. When you message one of those assistants, a limited amount of personal data is collected so the conversation and any booking can work. This page explains exactly what that data is and how to have it deleted.

2.What data we hold

For someone who messages a business’s assistant, this can include:

  • A channel identifier — the ID the platform gives us, such as a Facebook Messenger page-scoped ID (PSID) or a Telegram user ID. We don’t receive your Facebook password or profile.
  • Contact details you provide — for example a name, phone number or email you give while booking.
  • Your conversation — the messages exchanged with the assistant.
  • Booking details — appointment or stay times and any notes tied to your booking.

3.Who controls your data

Each business that runs an assistant is the controller of its customers’ data; JuanService is the processor that runs the platform on the business’s behalf. So the business you messaged is primarily responsible for your data — but you can ask either the business or us. If you ask us, we’ll delete the data we hold and coordinate with that business.

4.How to request deletion

Email support@juanservice.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, from (or naming) the contact you used, and include:

  • the channel you used (Messenger or Telegram);
  • the business or page whose assistant you messaged; and
  • enough detail for us to find you (the name, phone or email used in the chat).

We may need to confirm your identity before deleting, so that no one can delete someone else’s data.

5.What happens, and how long it takes

Once verified, we delete the personal data we hold about you for that business — your conversation transcript, contact details and booking records — except anything we’re required to keep by law (for example, limited transaction records) or that has been irreversibly anonymised. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days and will confirm by email when it’s done.

6.Stopping messages (opt-out)

If you simply don’t want to receive further messages, reply STOP on the channel — that halts assistant messages without you needing to email us. You can still ask for full deletion separately at any time.

7.Removing the app on Facebook

You can also remove the integration from Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites. When Facebook notifies us that access was removed, we treat it as a signal to stop processing on that connection; to also delete the stored data, send the request above.
